The founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro has dropped a key revelation about the future of churches and Christianity in the country.
Speaking to his church members this morning, Prophet Oduro clearly stated that in the next five years, the amount of offertory churches receive from its members will reduce drastically or even cease. He explained his point by saying that there are some commentators on social media who always blast people who pay offering and tithe at church. He added that these commentators believe that the tithes and the offering paid to churches are solely for the pastors. He added that what he saw was a prophecy and it is likely to happen if something is not done about it.
With this reason, Prophet Oduro revealed that in the next five years, churches will barely get offertory. He advised the youth who are trying to get convinced by the commentators’ message that those messages are false and satanic.
He explained that offertory is not for the pastors but rather the church. He added that before God’s work can move on, there is the need for investment by church members that can keep the church going. He added that persons who clean, play drums and other activities in the church are often paid with the offertories given by the church members.
