Osagyefo Oliver Barker speaks about the e-levy and how his team made massive effort to make sure that, the government does not implement the electronic levy. But looking at how things are going, despite the effort from Oliver Osagyefo Barker, the Government of Ghana will implement the Electronic Levy on Sunday 1st May 2022.
Osagyefo Oliver Barker made this touching message known on his official facebook page for Ghanaians to see how he fought effortlessly to stop restrain e-levy which did not succeed.
“We have done everything that is legally possible to restrain the passage and implementation of the E-levy. Not even a threat of coup, as thet perceived it; was enough to stop this Government from impoverishing Ghanaians and worsening income inequality. They have no fear for our court. In fact they themselves will mock you to go to court. The Government and it’s assigns has no fear that any court will hold them contempt”. – Oliver Barker stated.
