The lady’s photo was posted online with an inspiring story of how she survived being set ablaze on her birthday one year ago. Many people wished her well and questioned why men could be so brutal.

A lady was burnt alive one year ago today on her birthday. Her beauty had caused men to lust after her and her husband to get jealous, and he thought the best way to solve his problem would be by burning her alive. On her birthday her husband got her gifts and afterwards set her ablaze for been too beautiful and making men lust over her.

I can’t believe that this woman survived. If I were in her position, I’d be dead by now. She’s the unfortunate victim of a crazy husband who was so jealous of her beauty that he burnt her alive because “men lust their minds over her”. 

It’s easy for us to look at this woman’s story and feel extremely thankful for our own lives, but it’s also important for us to remember that we’re not immune to things like this happening. None of us should ever think that domestic violence can’t happen in our own homes.
