A popular member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Richard Amoako Baah has boldly revealed why Bawumia will not be the best Presidential candidate for the NPP in the 2024 elections.
The New Patriotic Party has started its internal elections and seeks to elect new executives and leaders for the party going into the 2024 elections. They will elect a new Presidential Candidate for the party. Currently, the two frontrunners are Dr. Bawumia and Alan Kyeremanteng.
While speaking in an interview with Power FM in Accra, Dr. Richard Amoako Baah revealed he disagrees with those calling for a Bawumia and Alan on a single ticket. He also mentioned that Bawumia is not the best person to lead the party in 2024 because he’s unpopular now.
” I disagree with those calling for Bawumia and Alan on a single ticket because that will not help. Bawumia would want to be the President and Alan will not accept that because that’s what he’s always wanted.”
“Bawumia as the Presidential Candidate will also not help the party because President Akufo-Addo himself and the government have accepted that things are not going well. Bawumia is therefore unpopular in the sight of Ghanaians and we will lose if he wins the Presidential Candidate position.” Dr. Amoako Baah boldly revealed this on Power FM.
