Captain Smart speaking on Onua TV this morning 29th April 2022, made a bold declaration that, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo indirectly spoke about him when he was addressing the people of Ghana. On Thursday 28th April 2024, Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo made it clear that, the existence of democracy in Ghana has help Ghanaians. The president added that, Ghanaians should be guided by the 1992 constitution even when the need to review the constitution arise. Nana Addo made this statement when he was speaking at the 30th Anniversary of the referendum approving the 1992 constitution yesterday.
According to Captain Smart, the exact words coming from Nana Addo at the anniversary ground strictly comes to him directly. Captain Smart explained that, He is the one who has been speaking against the 1992 Constitution. But since Nana Addo is saying Democracy has come to help Ghanaians, then the President is only giving him a reply to his previous words against the 1992 Constitution and Democracy.
“Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo was referring to me when he made that statement about democracy and the 1992 constitution yesterday. I always say that, Democracy is the downfall of Ghanaians and the 1992 Constitution is a major problem. So, the words from Nana Addo is just a reply for me”. – Captain Smart stated.
