Cookie Tee on TV3 asked a very special question and the feedback on the show was very emotional. The topic for the day was;” Do real men own up to their responsibilities?”. She traced the backdrop of this question to the trending issue of Yul Edochie’s social media disclosure of having a second wife and another child. She asked if it was right to disclose such news on social media without first telling the wife who even wrote a reply on his social media,” God will judge both of you ”. Cookie Tee asked if it was the right way to own up to responsibility.
The show was blazing like a hot furnace as callers rushed in with their calls to contribute to this trending topic. One caller revealed that he will first inform his mother about his situation before informing his wife that he has given birth outside marriage. The caller explained that his mother understands him far better than his wife.
According to the last caller, who gave her name as Elorm, she explained that women are really suffering and she tasted just a little of helping a guy to become very wealthy for the guy to disrespectfully dump her. She revealed that she met the guy when she was 23 years but due to her love, she supported the guy in everything, but the guy later openly told her that he wants a lady who can start a car when he starts his. She revealed that as soon as she graduated from her driving school, she realized that her guy had already wedded a nurse who could drive a car. She mentioned that she was so heartbroken that she regrets her past. She said she has been so depressed because of the support she gave to the guy giving to him her “cookie”.
The beautiful TV3 presenter Cookie Tee encouraged Elorm to be steadfast and wait for the good times ahead because she would soon get a husband who would appreciate her for who she is. We can understand many women who are broken-hearted because they were deceived by guys they thought they were dating or married. Our advice is that God will wipe out such tears and such ladies should be patient because, at the right time, they will smile. We applaud Cookie Tee for her role in constantly advising on relationship topics.
