A lady called Diana Boateng got into a relationship with Kofi Kankam in 2013 after she completed Senior High School, she went to her parents with him, the guy promised never to leave her even if she give birth in the present of his parents. She conceived and gave birth after some months of dating him. The guy later went to build a house on his mother’s land and they all moved to stay in the house with his mother and siblings.
They were staying in peace in the house but they started fighting because of the sweeping of the house. After this issue, there had no peace in the house, Diana’s mother even gave them money to rent another room at a different place but still, her boyfriend didn’t leave the house. Akosua said she asked someone to accompany her to plead with her mother-in-law so that they will have peace in the house.
All that the woman told her was to leave her son. Akosua said the guy beats her on a night she was supposed to go for a security service screening for the following morning. She got bruises on and she was not able to go for the screening. Her mother-in-law came to plead not to tell her mother about it. But he again beats her when she was chatting on phone with another person. The lady later move out of the house went to rent another room.
Kankam even helped her to send her belongings to her new place. The guy never came to visit her, one day she went to his house to find another woman in his room. She revealed for the past two years, her boyfriend has not been having an affair with her. She asked him the reasons why he was doing that, the guy told her that his mother advised him not to sleep with her to avoid another pregnancy.
According to Kankam, Akosua was not working when he met her at Feyiase, he established a momo business for her, and after she gave birth, he made sure to provide her with everything she needs, but the lady used to send the money without paying it. He even arrests one guy about this issue. Diana wants him to always help her with the housework but he never argued with her.
Her girlfriend always chats with different men, he too was not happy about her behaviour. He again continued that the the lady never takes good care of her own child. What worries him about Diana is she doesn’t respect him, she used to insults him whenever they had any misunderstanding. Kankam admitted that he has not been having affair with her because she has been avoid him when he wants to sleep with her.
