Two-times Ghana FA Cup winners Okwawu United have remained unbeaten in their ongoing Eastern Regional Second Division League as they chase promotion to the second tier league.
The Mountaineers beat Kwahu Warriors 1-0 in an away encounter played on Saturday to complete the double over their neighbours in this second round encounter.
Victory for Okwawu United means they move a step closer to qualification to the promotional middle round campaign which leads to the first tier league.
Okwawu United’s goal this afternoon was scored by William Antoh in the 25th minute in a game played at the Ofori Park, Yaayaso near New Abirem in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Okwawu United leads the standing in their Zone in the ongoing competition as they continue with their quest to qualify to the round of qualification to the National Division One League.
They are the huge favourites to qualify to the middle league as they lead the standing in their zone with a couple of games to end their campaign.
