The FA Cup Management Committee of the Ghana Football Association, GFA has announced dates and venues for the semi-final matches of this season’s competition.
The games will be played in Berekum and in Accra where the two winners that will emerge, will compete for the trophy and prize money at stake.
According to the program released by the FA Cup Committee, Saturday, May 14 and Sunday 15, 2022, will be the dates for these upcoming matches.
The second semi-final game will be played on May 15 at the Berekum Golden City Park where former winners of the competition Bechem United will be up against Aduana FC.
Hearts of Oak won the trophy last season against AshantiGold SC and, they are hoping to make it back-to-back wins this season.
Dreams FC has reached the last four of the competition for the first time and, are hoping to win it for the first time.
Former winners of the event Bechem United will look to advance to the final as they seek a second success in the competition.
Aduana FC are aiming to add this trophy to the two Ghana Premier League, GPL titles they have to complete winning the two major football competitions on the domestic scene.
The final of this year’s edition will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi later next month where the winner will represent Ghana in the 2022-2023 CAF Confederation Cup competition which begins later this year.
