Young Ghanaian musician, Kwesi Arthur has shared some insights into his latest album.
According to him, they finished with the mixing and mastering of the album as far back as 2019, however, the release of the album was stalled by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He made this known in a recent interview he had on the popular Ghanaian radio station, Hitz FM with Andy Dosty.

“When we were through with mixing and mastering the songs on the album, we felt it was the right time to release it. The COVID-19 pandemic also stalled the release. It also gave us time to work on more records.”
Born Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, the award-winning rapper is based in Tema. He rose to fame in 2017 with the hit single “Grind day” which received wide spread acclaim and a co-sign from rap heavyweights Sarkodie and Medikal.
He has won several accolades, including Rapper of the year and Hip Hop Song of the year at the Vodafone Ghana Awards as well as a Viewer’s Choice Best International Act nomination at the 2018 BET Awards.
He became the second Ghanaian rapper to be nominated for BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher after Sarkodie’s nomination in 2019.
