Manchester United has been well known for their outstanding performances but has been inconsistent in recent times. Though they have the quality to compete at the highest level but it’s still not working. This caused the club to sack their club legend and manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Ralf Ragnick was made an interim coach but nothing changed.
Their only hope this season after missing out on the chances of grabbing any trophy was to be in the top four of the league to seal a qualification to the UEFA Champions League next season. This chance has also been bottled by the Manchester United team according to their manager. They were defeated by Arsenal who is also in the race to make it to the top four.
This defeat to Arsenal has broken the little hope they had to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. Ralf Ragnick, when asked in an interview about their hope, he said, “ Top four is gone, yes”.
