The Majority leader, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has sent a bold message to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) concerning the recent EIU report.
The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) in their recent report on our upcoming 2024 general elections revealed that the National Democratic Congress is likely to win the 2024 elections provided they will contest with a fresh candidate either than John Mahama.
While reacting to the EIU report in an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah boldly told the NPP not to joke with the report of the EIU because it’s a wake-up call for them going into 2024. He revealed that the party should make sure they unite and treat everyone fairly so that, they can collectively win power in 2024.
” The recent EIU report is a wake-up call for the New Patriotic Party, we cannot joke with it or throw it under the carpet. We must admit that there are current economic hardships in the country and making some Ghanaians uncomfortable. We have to fight and change those things before 2024 otherwise we will be laughing at the wrong side of our mouths.” Majority Leader boldly said on Hello FM in Kumasi.
