Ghanaians seem not to be impressed with the president’s claim on how many fully operational One District One Factory initiative implementations has seen their completion stage as acknowledged by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
President Nana Akufo-Addo says a total of 107 factories are fully operational under the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative and that has drawn responses to this claim on social media [Facebook]
The President mentioned that over 200 of these factories are under construction and will be completed soon. The President made these remarks when he commissioned the Atlantic Life Sciences Company, a pharmaceutical under the 1D1F program.
The president’s promises to establish one factory in every possible district in the country have seen some ups and downs with not too many of these factories having seen their manifestation. Making Ghanaians unequivocally delve into the new remarks from the president.
Here are randomly selected comments from worried Ghanaians:
This should be told to uninformed Ghanaians, but not adults or maybe only NPP people. If these number of what is called factories are operational in Ghana, where are the products in Ghana?
How many of those factories were started and completed by him? How many are individual companies? How many are existing companies?
You can’t deceive us again, I will only believe your words Nana if you can show or prove to us [Ghanaians] from the scratch these claimed factories in these districts. I doubt it’s even true because you’ve always not been truthful to us.
