Black Stars Winger Suffers a Horrific Injury in Turkey

Every footballer’s desire is to avoid injuries but that desire could sometimes elude the footballer because injuries are inevitable in sports.

Players would be happy to sustain slight injuries because it makes them return faster to continue their beloved career. However when the injury sustained is a long term one, then the player begins to rue the unfaithful incident. Therefore players hope and pray every season to avoid injuries or go injury free season in order to have a smooth career. The latest Ghanaian to join the treatement room is winger, Samuel Tetteh who plies his trade in Turkey with Adanaspor. The 25-year-old picked up an injury in their last game and as a result will be out of for rest of the season. The former Ghana U-20 winger took to his Facebook page to announce the unfortunate incident.

“I’m Sad To Announce My Season Has Come to An End Due to the injury i had in our Last Game. “Unfortunately This Is Not What I wished For But Everything happens for a Reason. “I would like to Wish The Team All The Best in their Remaining games to finish the season on a good note, HOPE TO COME BACK STRONGER NEXT SEASON 💪🏾 See Y’all Soon.” Samuel Tetteh wrote on his Facebook page.

Samuel Tetteh has previously played for Red Bull Salzburg before spending time on loan at Liefering and LASK LINZ all in Austria. He has also played for USL club, New York Red Bulls but returned to Red Bull Salzburg after his loan spell and later went to St. Poelten also on loan. Tetteh who started his career with WAFA in Ghana, currently plays in Turkey second tier with Adanaspor which he joined on permanent basis.
