Johnnie has been a strong campaigner against old men who are appointed into high offices. According to Johnnie these men sleep on their jobs and are unable to fuel growth at the institutions they head. He has criticized the president for appointing people of his age into office. Well, on Johnnies Bite today, Friday, April 22, 2022, Johnnie applauded President Akufo-Addo for listening and appointing a young person to a high office. It can be recalled that yesterday the president appointed Dr. Okoe Boye, former Minister of Health as the new CEO of the National Health Insurance Scheme.
Johnnie reiterated that this is good news and called on the president to keep up the good work and appoint more young people who are competent to high offices. He called on the president to retire some of the old men who are not performing if indeed he has the men to fill those spots. Johnnie also reminded Okoe Boye to revamp the National Health Insurance institution and be better than those who preceded him.
