Rev Minister Disagrees With Evangelist’s Claims That Church Funds Cannot Be Used To Support Members

The Associate Pastor of the Agape .Love Church in Kumasi in the Ashanti region, Rev.David Armstrong Amoah has indicated that there is nothing wrong for churches to cater for the needy and poor members in a church.

Reacting to the recent claim been made by Evangelist Akwasi Awuah that church funds cannot be used to support the welfare of the needy members of a church, Rev Amoah described the alleged statement as unbiblical.

The man of God asked that as pastors, what do we expect from the church members who pay offerings, and through their supports the church is built do when they need help.

He allegedly asked Evangelist Akwasi Awuah whether he took his time to read or research into the Bible to get the full understanding about the importance that attached to the welfare of church members.

I think my colleague pastor has lost focus , we don’t have to give him the attention, the man of God alleged.

Rev Armstrong Amoah reiterated that as pastors it is our duty to financially support, give quality education and training to our members, so that they would in turn give offerings to support the church.

Citing instances, the pastor said he he knows some churhes who are currently catering for ten University students apart from other tasks they have been undertaking to seek the welfare of other church members.

Let’s stand by our calls as men of God and discharge our duties in line with the Bible principles, the clergy noted.

Torching on the pastors who allegedly oppose the celebrations of Easter, Rev Ofori advised such pastors to stop making the statement since they cannot justify their claims with any scriptural prove.

The pastor however debunked the claim that Easter is a satanic celebration.

Concluding that the true men of God who believes in the blood would continue to celebrate the occasion to glorify God at all times.
