Gyankroma Akufo Addo who is the current acting Chief executive officer for the Creative Arts Agency has hinted to storm Parliament with a new bill. She hopes that the new bill shall be debated upon, accepted and passed into law.
Although some people criticised Gyankroma as a beneficiary of an appointment because her father is the President, there were those who saw her work as excellent.
According to Gyankroma, she wants a passed bill which will safeguard the study of Creative arts in all levels of education in Ghana. She added that, she have had a meeting with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service over her ideas.
” This is a good action by Gyankroma Akufo Addo. You’re doing very well for the Creative arts industry. Keep it up ” One Portia Tabiri reacted to the news.
Gyankroma Akufo Addo added that, she been advised to start her initiative in the Colleges of Education. This is because, those who will pass out of Colleges of Education shall also impact whatever they learnt into pupils at the basic level.
All these came to light after she met the Creative arts committee to brainstorm over how to make the Creative arts industry more vibrant.
