A prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has raised serious doubts about John Mahama being the party’s flag bearer for the 2024 elections. He revealed the party would have to work excessively if Mahama wins as flag bearer.

His reaction comes after the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) report revealed that NDC stands a better chance of winning the 2024 elections with a fresh candidate and not John Mahama.

Meanwhile, a former Ambassador to Dubai and a staunch NDC member, Daniel Osei while speaking with Adom FM revealed that the NDC should listen to the report of the EIU and select a fresh candidate otherwise, they would have to work excessively if Mahama remains their flag bearer or presidential candidate.

“We will have to work double if John Dramani Mahama still stands as the flagbearer of the NDC in the 2024 election. This is someone who was once the President of the country whose picture was in everybody’s office but was still voted out,”

“I think the executives of the party are also disappointing the party. The NPP has already started activities but the opposition party NDC is still quiet. They should by now have started engaging the grassroots and registering the youth for more votes. We ought to find a fresh candidate for 2024.” Daniel Osei boldly revealed on Adom FM.

Thanks for reading this article. Do you agree with Daniel Osei? Do you think the NDC needs a fresh candidate either than John Mahama?

Do you think Daniel Osei just hates John Mahama?
