The suspended Central Regional New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 1st Vice Chairman,bMr. Ekow Horace Ewusi popularily known as ‘Skillful Baba’ has warned the Central Regional Party Executives to be cautious about the way they’re running the party at the Regional level to avoid any division in the party.
He said, “the NPP party in the Central Region needs new and energetic men to lead the party to break the eight (8). Therefore, he described the direction of the party in the Region as dangerous and irrelevant.
According to him, even if the party is retaining their Regional Executives, they will have to change its course
Speaking to Osahene Kwame Dapaah Asare on Kingdom 96.9 FM at Cape Coast, he explained that, he has worked hard for the NPP party at the Regional Level when he was the 1st Vice Chairman but due to his suspension, nobody in the Region their Regional chairman has personally informed him about their bid to contest in their internal upcoming election.
“Those l have heard they are contesting are Dr. Asibu who is the current central Regional treasure, my own brother Hon. Ayeh the former MP for Denkyira West has not tell me anything, Hon Odoom former MP for Twifo Attimorkwa and My Own chairman whether l like it or not he is still my boss Mr. Robert Kutin Junior is also contesting but they have all denied me. Hence refusing to inform me”, he emphasized.
He said he has not turned back from the party after his indefinite suspension which ended on the April 14th 2022 and is ever ready to support anyone who will officially inform him his Regional Chairman
He revealed this to the host on reaction to his suspension ban which will be lifted entirely on the day the Central Regional party will hold its 2022 Annual Delegates Conference.
