Is there a problem within Hearts of Oak management?

Accra Hearts of Oak are struggling with virtually everything this season. Issues on and off the pitch is affecting the fortunes of the club this season. They are not going to retain the title they won last season. Their only hope of a trophy this season is the FA Cup. Even with that they are struggling to produce results. When you compare the Phobians with what their rivals Asante Kotoko is doing currently, the Phobians would wish they are in the position of Kotoko right now.

Everything is going well for the porcupine warriors. They have virtually won the league. They have a new bus. They are playing beautiful football. Their membership drive project dubbed ‘Fabu Census’ is yielding great results as compared to the ‘phobia4life’ initiative by Hearts of Oak. There seems to be an issue within the Hearts management that they are not willing to talk about. When you compare the current Phobians with that of last season, there is a vast difference.

One other issue that has the penchant of destroying the Phobians is their management of player contracts. I don’t know if they know what to do. They keep losing key players for free to other clubs. They have lost Joseph Esso, Benjamin Afutu and others. That has hampered their progress over the years. Management must rise up and solve these issues before it destroys the club totally.
