Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe, an aide to former president John Dramani Mahama has finally reacted and explained the meaning of “Breaking The Eight”.
What he said was very unexpected.Â
Speaking on Okay Fm this morning, to Lawyer Tamakloe revealed that NPPs phrase of breaking the eight should not be taken literary. He added that the NPP wants to break with violence and foul means. He added that the party did the foul means to win the seat at Techiman south during the 2020 elections.
“It is about this government going to use foul means in order to perpetrate itself in power” he said.
“This is because, leading members of the NPP have really committed crimes against Ghana. They believe that the only way they will not be accountable to the people of this country is remain in power” he stated.
“Recently Ken Ofori Atta and others have used political power to destroy people’s businesses and he has even endorsed Dr. Bawumia as the next President which clearly tells you that Akuffo Addo’s family and friends are seeking a third term through Dr. Bawumia” he added.
