What Is Happening?- Sammy Gyamfi Fumes At The Silence Of All The Ghanaian Media Houses

The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress has registered his anger and disappointment with all the media houses in Ghana for their unprecedented silence on an issue that had much gravity.

“This is the first time in Ghana’s history that a President will be accused of state-sponsored robbery by a lady he is alleged to have had an affair with. Yet, most of the country’s media are mute about this scandal that has brought the presidency into disrepute. What is happening?”, he wrote on his Facebook wall.

This issue raised by Sammy Gyamfi is no news. The host of the With All Due Respect show, Kelvin Taylor, has in previous times, complained about the same issue. According to Kelvin Taylor, whenever something serious happens, we get the likes of Kwame Sefa Kayi using his platform to wish people Happy Birthday, Paul Adom Otchere, defending the government propaganda and other journalists doing other irrelevant things.
