The story of the police commander who refused a 10 million bribe and was demoted to a lower rank, is trending on social media. The officer was offered the bribe by an influential businessman in order to drop an investigation into his illegal activities. He turned it down he was hailed and celebrated.
He was later stripped off his ranks he gained through his years in the police service. He was investigated and found guilty of misconduct by his senior officer and as means of discipline he was demoted and stripped off his ranks. He accused his boss of hating him and he insists his rank raised.
He blames his superiors and top government officials for the unfortunate course of events, believing that he was unjustly targeted because they are jealousy and bad blood. He claimed because he doesn’t take bribe they are after him, demoting him just to bring him down. The Kenyan police officer insists on restoration of his rank and position.
He claimed they targeted him just to ruin his career and life. Accusing him of misconduct, demoting him from senior officer to a lower officer.
