Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong, Kweku DMC, a member of the clique said that their songs do not promote bad practices among the youth since they currently hold the masses.

He said that our generation is already used to hard drugs, reckless sexual lifestyles, money, and other uncalled practices, hence they are not the first to ever preach or use these practices in their songs.

They claim they have never used drugs be it weed or codeine for themselves, thus the fact that they use them in their songs doesn’t mean they are into such ventures.

According to the controversial dancehall crooner, Ghanaians should desist from comparing the hard work of Nigerians to the lazy lifestyles of the Ghanaian music industry because Nigerians understand music and appreciate their talents, unlike their Ghanaian counterparts.

In a tweet, Shatta Wale said that Nigerians really appreciate their talents and support them in their own ways by streaming their music, unlike Ghanaians who only aim to debate the comparisons between talents in both countries.

He averred that Nigerians be respected for their hard work since Ghanaians have brought nothing but shame upon the music industry.
