Hearts of Oak were held to a 1-1 draw by relegation threatened, Elmina Sharks in week 25 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians took the lead by kind courtesy former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko right back, Samuel Inkoom in the first half. The former FC Basel defender swept in a sweet free kick to give Hearts of Oak the lead at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians could not hold on to the slim lead after showing poor performances at home.
Elmina Sharks who are bottom of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League pulled level at the Accra Sports Stadium. The visitors held their guns to draw 1-1 until the entire game came to an end at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak remain in 6th with 37 points from 25 matches and Elmina Sharks are still rooted to the bottom of the league table with 19 points after 25 matches into the season.
