Death is something that is inevitable. It fills our heart with pain and sorrow. Nothing is so painful than to loose a loved whom you know that you are not going to see him or her again. The good memories you had, the things you talked about and how close you were leaves an indelible mark in your heart.
We loose a son, daughter, uncle, mother or any other member of our family and sometimes a good friend who was more than a brother or sister to us. This can be really painful and sometimes we can’t recover from the loss. The only way we keep going is knowing that the Lord is our strength. That is our only source of hope.
Life is full of ups and downs and death is the Down part of our lives. We must accept whatever that comes our way. Acceptance is the first and surest step to overcome our challenges.
Now what do we wear to a funeral? Black is the main colour for funerals but if the deceased is very old like seventy to hundred years, then the attire is supposed to be white or black and white.
