A fast-rising entrepreneur and businessman, Dr. Amo Collins, CEO of Aduro y3 herbal center; producers of Obuasi bitters in Obuasi, has presented assorted items and a cheque of GH¢10,000 to the Village of Hope Children’s Home at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region to mark his 34th Birthday.
The items which included bags of rice, frozen chicken, cooking oil, tin tomatoes, toiletries, biscuits, sugar, and detergents, amounted to GH¢5000.
The philanthropist was accompanied by his staff, friends, and associates.
“I am always motivated to give to the needy and less privileged, since the Bible talks about having more blessings in giving than receiving. Having witnessed an improvement in my business, I deem it necessary to share my joy and blessings with the needy in society”. Mr. Amo Collins said after the donation.
He was optimistic that the donation would help alleviate the plight of the children and improve their living conditions.
Having done similar donations last year, the young CEO said, the successes he has chalked since then have been enormous hence it was appropriate for him to return. He thanked God for seeing him through the years.
Managing Director of Hope Children’s Village Samuel Osei Addo Mensah, the Founder who received the items on behalf of the orphanage thanked Mr. Amo Collins for the donation.
“This is not the first time he has done this for us. Last year, he donated to us which went a long way to help us”.
He described the donation as timely since the school is facing some financial difficulties.
He called on other individuals and corporate organizations to come to the aid of the school.
