The World Cup Qualifiers and the much anticipated clash between Ghana’s immediate rivalry the Super Eagles of Nigeria became a talk of town when the Nigerians released their squad two weeks for the game. Upon enquires, it was made clear by the Ghana Football Association(GFA) that it was a “Technical Strategy” by the body to do it.

The goal-post sport is made up of four players. They include, Joseph Wollacott as usual from Swindon, England, Manaf Nurudeen of Eupen, Belgium, Lawrence Ati Zigi of Gallen – Switzerland, and Richard Ofori in South Africa, Olando Pirates.

The defensive department has nine players in all. With the usual Daniel Amartey,Andy Yiadom, Joseph Paintsil and Alexander Djiku, other new faces made the list too.
