The EPL Is Far From Over As Liverpool Closed On The Points When City Lost To Tottenham Yesterday

when it comes to the best league in the world it is undisputable fact that, the English Premier League stand above any other league across the world. By virtue of the intensity, popularity and difficult the league is, many football fanatics tend to watch the league more than any other league in the world. Any team in the EPL is capable of inflicting defeat on any opponent irrespective of the teams playing. it has happened upteen times in the EPL when a small team dismantle a big team. For a team to win the EPL, it has to prepare adequately and work extra mile before it can win the EPL tittle.

At the moment, three teams are fighting vehemently to win the league though other teams are trying but they are far away from the three teams in terms of points, the teams are Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea FC. The later is losing grounds to the two teams at the moment.

Manchester City is currently occupying the first position as far as the EPL table is concerned. Before yesterday’s matches The current league leaders Manchester City were sitting comfortable at top with 9 points gap between them and the team occupying the second position in the league table thus Liverpool. Manchester City were leading the table with 63 points from 25 games whiles Liverpool with a game in hand were occupying the second position with 54 points. Which means that, before yesterday’s game City were leading the second team in the league table with nine points.

Unfortunately for the league leaders, They were stunned yesterday by Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham dismantled City yesterday by inflicting 3-2 defeat on Manchester City yesterday.

Liverpool has closed the gap from nine points to only six points when they also defeated Norwich 3 goals to 1. In this regard, Liverpool which is currently second on the table is just six points behind the league leaders Manchester City.

The Six points gap will eventually reduce to 3 if only Liverpool wins their outstanding match.
