It wasn’t so long ago when a female R&B, Aril Lenox, tweeted that Ghana is the most beautiful country in the world and she achieved her goal by visiting Ghana to perform at the Afrochella event during the last days of 2021.
Just a few hours ago, one of the highly rated Jamaican dancehall artist, Popcaan, also made a tweet pleading with his Jamaican government to make flights from Ghana to Jamaica a straight one. Do you agree with him?
It was known that during the early days of this year,he was chilling with Stonebowy and Nigerian Davido in Ghana, so it might be that he said that because he wanted ease for Jamaicans who like to visit Ghana more often like him. Popcaan is known to have a strong relationship with the Gambians and he also raised his profile in West Africa when he collaborated with Davido on his Risky song in 2019. Though Americans are known to be those who really visit Ghana the most, Popcaan wants to prove that Jamaicans love Ghana as well.
I hope you know Chance the Rapper. If you don’t, he’s a famous American singer who also said he really wants to visit Accra, and as of yesterday, he made a story on his Instagram account showing an overview of Accra, meaning he is currently in Accra. Though we don’t really know why he’s here, there have been rumours that he’s about to collaborate with our finest, Sarkodie.
