A Win Today May Land Juventus In The Top 4 Position

Prior to the winter break, Juventus went on a five-match unbeaten run in Serie A, putting them back in contention for European qualifying and indicating that 2022 could be a strong year for them. They led 1-0 at halftime in all five of those games, though doing so again tonight won’t guarantee anything, as they led by the same scoreline at halftime in their 2-1 setback earlier this season.

They’ll keep their European ambitions alive if they can build on the three home league wins ‘to nil’ they’ve managed in their previous four SA fixtures, and they’ve beaten Napoli in recent years after losing just one of the last 11 Serie A meetings they’ve hosted.

Nonetheless, Juventus will have to try to retain their domination despite the absence of several key players, Georgio Chiellini, who is suffering from Covid-19.

However, for a squad in desperate need of a boost to start the New Year, their away form should provide comfort, given they’ve only lost one Serie A road game this season and have scored first in each of their previous four such games.A win today may land Juventus in the Top 4 position.
