Kasoa: Man Pretends To Faint In Court To Escape Trial

Innusa Fuseini was arrested by the Police in Kasoa and at the Kasoa Ofankor circuit court, decided to pretend to faint to escape trial but that did not work. The crime Fuseini has been committing in the Kasoa CP is that he has sex with women and records them with a hidden camera in his room.

Afterwards, he uses the video as bait to extort money from his victims. He was first arrested, tried and granted bail. But he escaped after about five of his victims also reported him to the police and three bench warrants were issued for his arrest. After the presiding judge His Lordship Ebenezer Osei Darko read his charges out to him and was about to declare his sentence, Fuseini fainted.

However, the judge and chief prosecutor Mohammed perceived that Fuseini was faking. After lying there for a few minutes he woke up and the trial continued. Fuseini has been remanded into prison custody for two weeks and to reappear before the court to face another charge laid against him.
