Oburu Odinga Explains Why Ruto Is The State Project As He Tells Off Raila’s Opponents

East African Legislative Assembly member of parliament Dr. Oburu Odinga, Raila’s eldest brother, has told off Ruto allies for branding the former prime minister as the state project in the race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Oburu who attended a function together with Raila and a number of Nyanza politicians stated that Raila has be a fighter and has always stood on his own despite the opposition by the state operatives.

On the other hand, he claimed that deputy president William Ruto is the state project considering his political life, he argued that he Ruto was just taken from nowhere and made KANU’s secretary-general at the age of 26 therefore he is the state project.

This comes amid Intensified campaigns with Ruto allies now asking Kenyans to reject Raila who is the state project, they claim that he Ruto is best suited to take over the leadership of the country from Uhuru since he is people’s project.
