An airplane is an aircraft that is powered and propelled forward in the air by the thrust of an engine. It is an amazing feat of engineering that takes several stages of design and manufacturing to build, and it is during the design and planning process that the aircraft’s objectives and specifications are established.

Aircraft manufacturers have made so many contributions to the aviation industry over the last decade. Unlike in the past, one can now easily see various types of plane designs. In this article, I want to share with you about the inside of the airplane manufacturing plant in Germany called Airbus.

Airbus is a multinational aerospace corporation that specializes in the design, manufacture, and sale of civil and military aerospace products around the world and also produces aircraft for the European Union and other countries. Airbus is arguably the world’s largest airliner manufacturer, with more orders than rival Boeing.

The company has production facilities in France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, China, as well as the United States and Canada. But we’ll be looking at its plant in Germany. As one of the countries that was instrumental in the creation of Airbus, it has a rich history of aircraft design and construction, and it’s home to some of the company’s largest and most important operations.

The plant handles major component assembly such as fuselage section and equipping, final assembly, equipping of the forward and complete rear fuselage sections, and also cabin furnishing, painting, and delivery of products to customers in Europe and the Middle East. The Airbus plant in Germany employs over 46,000 people, which accounts for roughly half of all employees in the German aerospace industry.
