Ghanaian music stars Shatta Wale and Medikal after they were jailed at Ankaful Maximum Security Prisons have been close than ever and to cap their new bond, the two jointly pulled a huge crowd to the Accra Sports Stadium on Christmas Day.
The two music stars were able to fill up 40,000-capacity Accra Sports Stadium with their first joint concert dubbed ‘Freedom Wave’.
The show drew a lot of attention and its success was largely credited to Shatta Wale as Medikal was put in the shadows as if he never existed.
It is in view of this that a social media user has posited that Medikal advises himself on the attention Satta Wae received after the show.
In his opinion, Medikal should disassociate himself from Shatta wale or he will live in the shadow and not be noticed in the music industry.
Many also likened the situation to Pope Skinny’s affiliation to Shatta Wale where all the attention was centred on the dancehall artiste leaving the Hiplife artiste in the shadiws.
