The suspect, Manteh Tetteh, was given no fair trial, a hearing or a chance to explain himself as residents of Drabonso set him up for physical torture in the early hours of this morning. Manteh, without a helper, begged for forgiveness but the residents never heard him and kept subjecting him to all kinds of beatings from 5 AM he was caught to 7 AM he was saved.

Manteh, 29, had tried stealing a Toyota Highlander this morning when he was caught by Agya Nimako Duodu. Agya Duodu as he is commonly referred to as, was having his quiet time around 4:30 AM when he heard footsteps at the back of his bedroom.

With a master key, Manteh forced the driver side gate of the car to open but the alarming system of the car started blowing and that brought attention to him before he could disable it. Manteh could not disable the alarming system and that lead to the Duodu family catching upon him while he tried getting into the car.

Manteh was traced to the Drabonso SDA school park where he was arrested by residents. With belts and hooks, stones, canes and sticks, the resident of Drabonso disciplined Manteh without hearing him or handing him to the police.

With anger, residents hooked Manteh with a car tyre and tried setting him ablaze but Agya Duodu intervened and Manteh was handed to the police at 7 AM after he was rescued by the old man. Manteh sat at the SDA school park surrounded by angry residents until the arrival of the police.
