Concerning the outbreak of the new variant of the corona virus, His Excellency the president of Ghana will mount the podium today to talk to Ghanaians on how the new variant will be fought. He was doing this until the spreading of the virus reduced but due to the outbreak of Omicron, he will address the State today. Few days ago Ghana recorded her first case of the new variant, Omicron and the rate at which it is spreading is high. Data that came out two weeks after the outbreak of the new variant was 41 and it’s believed new cases have been recorded now.
