The acting speaker of Parliament Joe Wise seem to be very surprised of how the minority caucus in Parliament is trying to change everything in the house.
“I am surprised at how the minority members are trying to change how everything is done here in Parliament” He said.
This comes after the minority members in Parliament raised a concern that, the E-levy was not captured in the business statement for the meeting. They believe that the majority are using that as a means to quickly pass the bill on the final day of the meeting.Â
The Speaker then made it clear that the E-levy is captured in the statement already. This caused the Speaker to Speaker to say that he is surprised the minority is trying to change everything.
