The recent heartbreaking news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms is the unexpected rise in fatal accidents within the various regions in the country as innocent citizens keep losing their precious lives.
In just a day, Ghana has lost more than 10 ‘innocent’ passengers who were traveling to meet their relatives aside others who were on their normal job duties in other to make earns meet considering how the festive season is quickly approaching but the unexpected incident happened.
According to recent reports by Angel Television and Fm, another fatal accident which occurred around 12:40 am unexpectedly claimed countless lives on the Mampong road in the Ashanti region as a truck clashed with a speeding sprinter bus.
The Mampong divisional MTTD were immediately called to duty due to the fatal accident as some innocent passengers were reported to have got stacked in the sprinter bus, preventing other civilians from rescuing them.
Upon the arrival of the Mampong MTTD, it was revealed that, most of the passengers including the driver died on the spot after the impact as the condition within which the sprinter was found in was unrecognizable.
In addition to this, another fatal accident which recently occurred at Accra on the Prampram road also claimed lives of 4 innocent women who also died on the spot after their vehicle clashed head-on with a DAF truck.
According to recent reports, the driver of the vehicle within which the women were traveling with was over speeding and decided to make another unnecessary overtaking as the vehicle unexpectedly run into a DAF truck on the other lane.
In conclusion, another unexpected death of a school principal of the University of Ghana, Legon School of Continuing and Distance Education has undoubtedly broken lots of hearts as the driver who was driving the Toyota pickup died on the spot after colliding with another truck.
Over 10 innocent passengers have been reported to have lost their respective lives in just a day due to the careless driving by some vehicle owners and just to mention but a few.
Do you think that, installing a speed regulator in all vehicles across the country which will regulate aside controlling the speed limit of drivers can help reduce road accidents in the country even though most individuals claimed otherwise?
