Social media users have roasted multiple-award-winning artist Sarkodie after his recent comment on the increase of fuel and the ongoing strike of commercial vehicles.

A few hours ago, the rapper took to his Twitter page and lambasted the president over the introduction of taxes, increase in fuel, and other levies. Sarkodie has taken to his page to register his discomfort over the ongoing strike of commercial bus drivers and roadblocks in some parts of Accra.

Earlier today, commercial drivers, okada riders, and other transport services have embarked on a sit-down strike as a warning to the government to reduce taxes and fuel prices. Most passengers have been left stranded in most parts of Accra.

In the midst of the brouhaha, rapper Sarkodie took to his Twitter page to tweet saying, “The people are going through it !!! We always do !!! All we ask for is the right environment to hustle/ be productive …”.

However, it seems his tweet did not go down well with social media critics. A lot of criticizing why he has not composed a song just like he did to endorse the NPP.
