The president of the republic of Ghana has sent a message to all Ghanaian farmers.
According to the president, farmers are key individuals in the country that help to build the nation. He explained that, farmers and fish folks do not only feed the citizens of the country but the country itself and it’s neighbors.
He again said there is wealth is agriculture and the government will support them in any possible.
“There is wealth in Agriculture and government will continue to create the enabling environment and put in place the necessary policies and programmes for the rapid growth of the agricultural sector” He said.
This comes after the country celebrates the 37th edition of the farmers’ day today 3rd December, 2021.
The president also made it clear from the message that, farmers and agricultural workers do not feed only the citizens but also the neighbors of the country.
