US-based Ghanaian artiste Archipalago has reacted with fury to a passing comment Kwame Afrifa made about why left the shores of Ghana for the States.
Speaking on TV3, Afrifa said Archipalago was walking about “aimlessly” until he travelled to the US and had his fortunes changed.
According to him, the state of Ghana did not make it easy for Archipalago to realize his dream of becoming a trained nurse until he went abroad where the system allowed him to realize it with little effort.
“We sit in this country where Archiapalgo was working about aimlessly. The very moment he gets to America, he becomes a nurse,” Kwame Afrifa had said on This Day Show hosted by Berla Mundi on TV3.
The comment appears to have rubbed Archipalago the wrong way as he has reacted with fury to it. According to him, he worked his socks off in order to get to America and he also had to prove his mettle in order to get certified as a nurse.
He maintained that he feels disrespected for being described as “aimless” by Kwame Afrifa. He has threatened to face off with him should the two ever meet.
