Burna Boy has extended a hand of solidarity to Hollywood star Will Smith after he opened up recently about committing suicide amidst his issues with his wife Jada Pinkett.

Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, have recently made headlines for being outspoken about their marriage. In September he revealed that at one point in their marriage, they decided against practicing monogamy, reports Insider.

Pinkett Smith said that it’s sometimes “uncomfortable” and “hard” to maintain a healthy sex life with Smith in a new episode of “Red Table Talk.”

She later clarified that they’ve “never” had issues in the bedroom. As reported b ythe Insider, Smith shared his mental struggles amidst the release of his new movie saying;

“When I started this show I thought I was getting into the best shape of my life, physically,” Smith, 53, said. “But, mentally, I was somewhere else,” he says in the trailer. “And I ended up discovering a whole lot of hidden things about myself.”

He added that writing his memoir felt like “exposing my life and so many things that people don’t know about me.”

The trailer then cuts to Smith sitting beside his family members — including his three children, Trey, 28, Jaden, 23, and Willow, 20, — as he reflected on previous suicidal thoughts.

“That was the only time in my life that I ever considered suicide,” Smith said. It’s unclear what specific period in his life Smith was referring to in the trailer.
