Sarkodie would have been accused of blocking Black Sherif’s shine if he had jumped on the Second Sermon track, Geroge Britton has said.

According to the experienced blogger, it is unfair how Ghanaians berate and put little or no value on the good intentions of local entertainers.

On the back of Burna Boy working to feature on Black Sherif’s Second Sermon remix, George Britton believes if Sarkodie had tried to do the same, he would have been tagged as an opportunist who was envying the artiste’ shine…

He called for open-mindedness from fans which is vital if Ghanaian entertainers will succeed. According to him, interior support should not be seen as evil while exterior support is deemed as welcoming.

“If Sarkodie had jumped on Black Sherif’s 2nd Sermon, Ghanaians woulda said he was trying to feed on the young man’s shine. But here we praising Burna Boy for doing the same. We need to start building our people to have open minds for the sake of the culture,” he wrote on Facebook

 

Black Sherif’s Second Sermon track has been topping charts since it was released months ago. It has currently clocked over 7 million views on Youtube and millions of streams on major platforms.

On the back of the virality and quality of the track, Burna Boy has expressed genuine interest in working on a remix with him. He was seen in a video dropping what looked like his scripted verse on the track
