Television presenter Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah well known as MzGee, has resigned from Media General after two years.
Blogger Zionfelix has reported that media personality MzGee has resigned from the Media General. According to Zionfelix, the resignation of MzGee was confirmed in a statement copied to his blog.

According to the statement signed by the Group Head, Corporate Affairs, Christopher Koney, MzGee’s resignation will take effect from 25th October 2021. However, the statement did not disclose the reason why MzGee has resigned from the company.
“Management of the Media General Group wishes to announce the resignation of Gloria Akpene Nyarko popularly known as MzGee effective 25th October 2021.
“MzGee has been a valuable addition to the Group and her contribution is appreciated. The management wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavors,” the statement read.
Also taking to her Instagram page, MzGee wrote, “This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable. It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth. I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights!
But, it is now time to fly higher! May God be our guide in all our endeavors! See ya!”
