The rapper went vocal and blunt in a new interview with DJ Semtex on ‘Hip hop, Raised Me’, where he said that traditional radio in Ghana was not ready to play his songs when he started his musical journey.

“Mainstream radio in Ghana wasn’t ready to play any of my records because it didn’t make sense. We were rapping on some beat they didn’t term as commercial,” Sarkodie had said.

However, his posture irked a lot of industry players who came for him for his blatant lie and ungratefulness. He was reminded that it was mainstream media that catapulted him to this height because social media was not even popular with Ghanaians back when he was sprouting.

Perhaps as a form of voicing out his frustration with the foregoing, Sarkodie has returned with this track to express himself artistically.

On the same platform with DJ Semtex, Sarkodie spoke highly of Black Sherif to the international community in a recent interview with DJ Semtex on ‘Hip hop, Raised Me.’

When the African iconic rapper was asked which emerging talent he would like to put on or has a huge prospect, Sarkodie without any hesitation swung into full appellations mode by dropping huge epithets on the youngster who has been hailed as a breath of fresh air.

He told DJ Semtex in a video shared on his Podcast that Black Sherif is the future of Ghanaian music because his talent is huge. Watch the full interview in the video below;
