Milovan Rajevac teaches Black Stars forward Jordan how to shoot at training

New Blacks Stars coach Milovan Rajevac has taken it upon himself to sharpen the shooting skills of Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew.

Jordan Ayew has not scored for the Premier League side in over a year and his presence in the national team has not yielded goals in recent times.

On the back of that, Milovan at the first training session of the Black Stars after his return decided to invest more time into teaching the 29-year-old how to shoot properly in order to better the team’s chances of winning the World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Many football-loving fans believe Jordan Ayew is not the ideal striker to lead the Black Stars to victory at the AFCON since he usually falters when it comes to putting the ball at the back of the net. Although he is a fine playmaker and team player, many believe he needs to up his game as far as scoring is concerned.

Also, Jordan Ayew missed a penalty and failed to score in Ghana’s 8-0 win against Soccer Intellectuals in today’s friendly.

Sports Journalist Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo revealed that Milovan Rajevac is concerned about Jordan Ayew’s scoring ability and has as a result been teaching the striker how to shoot and score at training.

Milovan Rajevac took over as coach of the Black Stars in September following the sacking of CK Akonnor. This is his second stint with the national team and many are confident that he will surely bring back the love by delivering a good result against Zimbabwe on Friday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
