A parody group called Beef Nation headed by Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB) has declared Obibini as the winner of his intense beef with Amerado.
Adding a touch of humour to the aggressive lyrical war between the two, DKB said after waiting for hours for Amerado to respond to no avail, the Beef Nation has unanimously declared Obibini the winner.
DKB shared on Twitter thus;
Due to Amerado not responding to Obibini’s 2nd punch, the beef nation officially crown Obibini the winner by unanimous decision! This has been fun, did it for the culture, now let’s all support their works and make Ghana showbiz great again! Signed:Ghana Beef Commissioner crowned Obinini as the winner.
In the same vein, radio personality, Da Don has told rapper Obibini to copy Sarkodie’s craft in order to become a household name and be relevant in the mainstream.
Da Don was forced to make this comment after Obibini snubbed Sarkodie in his list of top five rappers in Ghana. Da Don, real name Prince Tsegah thinks Obibini is full of pride and arrogance because he can’t wrap his head around the fact that Sarkodie, despite his achievement is not one of his favourite rappers.
Obibini, who is presently embroiled in a lyrical feud with Amerado caused a stir when he was hosted by ace TV and radio personality Giovani Caleb on TV3 where he dropped a comment that has since sparked a huge debate online.
When he was asked during the tail end of the interview to name his top 5 rappers in Ghana presently, he mentioned M.anifest, Lyrical Joe, Strongman and Black Sherif.
He blatantly left out the name of Sarkodie despite his iconic status in Ghana and Africa. When Giovani Caleb drew his attention to the fact that he has omitted Sarkodie’s name regardless of his opinion being subjective, Obinini offered an interesting reaction.
