Bisa claims that, contrary to widespread belief among Ghanaians that his reign is over, his career is still very much alive in Ivory Coast.

Speaking in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, Bisa Kdei claimed that any Ghanaian who frequently travels to Cote D’Ivoire can attest to that fact that he is being worshiped in their country.

“In Ivory Coast, they worship me and when it comes to music they really like all my songs so I always make myself available anytime they need me,” he said.

“Most of the people from Ghana who travel to other African countries know that I’m highly exalted in Ivory Coast,” he noted.

He also revealed that he has been performing in some French-speaking countries and the response has been always positive which indicates that his craft is appreciated over there unlike in Ghana in present times due to the new breed of stars.

“The French people do show me love so I was invited to go and perform and I’ve been there several times with this being my fourth time,” he revealed.
