This was communicated by Rev Ameyaw Ebenezer Saka, Head of the Church Relations with the National Cathedral project.

Actually, it will cost Ghana, $100 million to put up the national cathedral and the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta- when he appeared before parliament last Thursday encouraged Ghanaians to contribute at least GH¢100 towards the building to the national cathedral.

In a radio interview on 3 FM, Rev Ameyaw Ebenezer Saka encouraged Ghanaians to contribute towards the completion of the project.

“This is going to bring huge tourism in this country, a lot of people are going to get jobs and we will see tourism having a facelift,”

“On the onset before the Biblical Garden and the Bible Museum, it was pegged at a hundred million dollars, now that it has been added it will be a bit higher. I can’t tell you exactly but it will be a bit higher than the hundred million dollars.”

The likes of Kwame Aplus, KSM, Twene Jonas among others have all spoken against the decision.

Well, it seems blogger Ameyaw Debrah wants to really help the construction of the Cathedral.
In a latest post on his Facebook page, Ameyaw Debrah revealed that he has made his contributions.
